Counselling & Aid
Learning Point Foundation has been working for the betterment of women ever since its inception. Our NGO takes pride in empowering women who come from the lower strata of society.
Learning Point Foundation gives utmost importance to the education of women who belong to the deprived and disadvantaged classes.
Whether it is widows or single mothers, orphan girls, or uneducated women our NGO supports them to get a new lease of life through education and empowerment.
Whenever a woman who is in need of educational guidance contacts Learning Point Foundation we understand and study the circumstances that she is in and based on her individual experiences and difficulties we come up with solutions that suit her the best.
Women and young girls who drop out of studies or require education are encouraged to complete their studies through NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) and become self-reliant by taking up jobs thus improving their economic and social status.
Learning Point Foundation has always believed that economic empowerment of women is necessary to overcome conditions such as poverty, an ability to cope with shocks and improve a woman’s overall well-being.
Social empowerment of women is crucial as it helps in making women capable of taking control of their future and subsequently helps them to support their families and communities around them.
Apart from NIOS training and counselling sessions, personality development and University of Cambridge-based Spoken English classes are provided to women at Learning Point by Learning Point Foundation.
This is done in order to increase the confidence levels of women and prepare them to face the ever-changing and fast-growing competitive world.
Learning Point Foundation raises aid for worthy candidates who hail from economically backward backgrounds and collects a minimal fee from those who are economically sound for NIOS training and other classes conducted at Learning Point
